Lan Perú confirma inicio de operaciones en aeropuerto de Jauja
LAN Perú recently launched a twice weekly non-stop service between Tarapoto and Iquitos. The TPP-IQT service is part of LAN Perú's goal to improve connectivity within Perú.
LAN Peru launches new route from Tarapoto to Iquitos
In order to expand its operations in Perú, LAN Perú recently inaugurated the opening of a new maintenance base located Lima's Jorge Chávez International Airport:
"This project is an example of the commitment and confidence that LAN Peru has in the development and growth of the country,” said Jorge Vilches, General Manager, LAN Peru. “The new maintenance hangar joins the $660 million investment announced last year for the purchase of eight new aircraft for the LAN Peru fleet and the $50 million that is to be invested over the next five years in the training of Peruvian pilots, crews and mechanics at our new Technical Instruction Center (CIT) which will open in the second half of this year."
LAN PERU inaugurated New Modern Maintenance Hangar
LAN Perú S.A. utilizes the A-319 a/c on all of its domestic routes and has a fleet of 20 A-319s with 6 more A-319s on order.
