Not sure about EY
but on QR
crew as far as I am aware are trained on the airbus (A320/A330/A340) fleet first then after 6-18months they are then trained on the 777s. This means there is alot of regional flying around the gulf and shorter hops to Europe to train up.
I also believe that on EY
the purser/CSD position is only long haul so the short haul pursers are actually CSS and what ever the EY
senior is down the back on long-haul flights, but this could be wrong.
How much of both fleets is equipped with PTVs I have always wondered; do EY
have many A320s on order?
