TK Celebrates 200 Destinations With Promo Video

Mon May 28, 2012 11:00 am

TK has recently announced schedules for the following destinations: Osh (Kyrgyzstan), Taif and Yanbu (K. S. Arabia), Novosibirsk (Russia) and Ulan-baatar (Mongolia) - along with a few other points in Europe and Africa - and has come up with a new promo video. See it here (sorry in Turkish but you get the idea): http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fDBb8NmVaEA

The thing is, with these TK reaches 200 destinations worldwide. And there are around 10 more planned within a year.

I wonder if IAH or another US city is in the mix of the new 10 planned.

TK is literally looking at a map searching for airports that can handle their aircraft and announcing it as a destination. Joking aside, once TK has an aircraft on stand at these airports then we can count it as a station. Didn't they announce ATL? Yes they do't fly to ATL.
I believe they mentioned intentions to start flights to IAH and BOS.

Those were indeed mentioned as potential destinations, but schedules were never announced for them. I sincerely doubt we will ever see ATL, especially before IAH, DTW, YUL. However, for these 5, schedules are available.

Taif begins 20.06.12: TK116 357 00:25-04:00+1

Yanbu (continuing on to Sanaa) begins 11.06.12: TK114 135 20:50-23:45

Osh begins 18.07.12: TK360 136 18:35-02:25+1

Ulan-baatar (extension of Bishkek service) begins 15.08.12: TK342 135 19:05-10:05+1

Novosibirsk already begun: TK423 357 19:50-05:30+1
