Finnair E170 In LGB?

Wed Jun 13, 2012 2:18 am

According to Flightaware, there is an AY E170 in LGB that arrived from Deer Valley airport near Phoenix. There have been talks on other websites and apparently someone actually saw it with their own eyes, so it doesn't seem to be a Flightaware glitch. Could this be one of the E170s that the new California Pacific out of Carlsbad is taking delivery of?

My guess would be it is a Honeywell test article. PT-TSC was recently here at PAE testing with Honeywell.

That's why it was in DVT, or so I'm told. About a year and a half ago, Honeywell had a B6 E190 on the Honeywell ramp at PHX for a while -- I recall that having something to do with the APU though.

So, I don't think it has anything to do with CP Air.

I saw a Finnair E170 at SYR about a month ago as I was leaving work, but never got an answer about it, I wonder if this is related....

OH-LEL has been in the USA since 18th January, having left Helsinki two days prior.
