ANA no longer has a stake in Nippon Cargo. They are independent from each other. Until a few years ago, ANA did do some 744 maintenance but NCA either does this in-house or outsourced overseas.
ANA Cargo did have a route to the US via ANC but I think they dropped it around 2008.

became really cold after the break up. Many ex KZ
employees switched to NH
afterwards and nowadays the two companies are completely separated.
Strange thing i saw was that NCA quit FRA
in 2009, but i can regularly see them there. Might be that FRA
is served by both, a NH777 and a NH787 daily and cargo is doing quite well, so i guess it's just charter buzz?
