Qantas 737 Makes Emergency Landing In Hobart!

Sat Oct 14, 2000 11:12 am

A Melbourne bound Qantas 737 had to return to Hobart after passengers allegedly noticed flames coming from one of the two engines. The jet could be out of service for atleast a few days as investigators try to find out what happened.

Close call, perhaps this is the "jolt" Qantas needs in order to stop the cutbacks in there engineering/maintainence division!
