FFT Using GWY Aircraft?

Wed Jun 27, 2012 2:20 pm

On the planefinder app, it shows that Frontier flight 8540 from ORD to PUJ is being oeprated by n263av, an a320 that is (was?) operated by USA 3000. Can anybody shed a little light on this? Did Frontier acquire the aircraft and just never change the reg.?

Looks like they leased it since May 29th.

Is it still in USA 3000 colors? Or Frontier colors? If Frontier, who's on the tail?

My guess would be Frontier, based only on the fact that the other ex USA3000 (N261AV) aircraft they have is in Frontier livery.
