As for this; I flew LBA
a few weeks ago, with LS
on the way there and WW
on the return. I flew out with G-GDFB
and the aircraft was flawless. Seats were tidy and comfortable, cabin was extremely well presented; and that a/c is 20 and a half years ago... it looked brand new!
Compare that with G-OBMP of WW
, who's first flight was exactly a month before "FB" (same age virtually) with looked limp, the seats were torn etc. and the plane looked aged. I know WW
are heading out of business, but compared to Jet2 it was shocking.
maintains for their G-CEL* 733s for the next 3/4 years they'll be ok, but newer 733's are coming on the market, so as far as I'm concerned, if maintained to the same standard as the GDF* 733's they'll be fine.
