Houston Site To Maintain United's Dreamliners

Tue Jul 10, 2012 2:29 pm

Looks like their may be be plenty of opportunities to catch a 787 out of IAH speaking specifically on domestic flights since all 50 dreamliner's are being based here once delivered. CO had always brought its 777's / 767's into IAH for maintenance and you could expect to score one of them on multiple sorties (3X -4X) per day between IAH & EWR. Hopefully, this will also be the case with the 787's (for LAX, SFO, ORD, IAD, DEN, EWR, etc.) since these will have to be repositioned back out to their respective home bases upon completion of its A, B, or C "checks".

Well, at least early on. I expect them to open another 787 mx station down the line at some point. I am anxious to see them hit the schedules so I can book one of the first out of IAH.

Quoting GEsubsea (Thread starter):

so what are we talking about here? B check? C? D?

and what about the engines? does CO even have an engine shop at IAH?
New airliners.net web site sucks.
