Looks good - good pedigree too; the first two started their working lives with Aer Lingus as EI-DUB and EI-CRK and assuming the third one also comes from Vladivostok Avia, that will also be an ex-EI machine.

Very nice! And I have to say I prefer the titles over the old Billboard-style ones that got lost among the windows...

Shaeen have also bought off a 734 from a Sharjah based company that had leased it to Bhoja Air, the ex-Sky Airlines (Turkey) aircraft was stored at KHI since delivery to Bhoja in April, its now been repainted in Shaheen livery. They now have three own 734s and one on lease operated by Jordan Aviation.

Hi!

Thanks for the photo. Looks pretty nice. The tail kinda reminds me of Sabena or SN Brussels (I can't remember) with an S although it's a little hard to see from that angle.

I have never been to Pakistan or flown Pakistan airlines but is this airline meant to compete with them? Is Pakistan airlines good value? Does it have good service? Is this airline meant to be cheaper or offer a better experience or something?

Anyway it makes a change to Emirates expanding all the time!

Many thanks.

Yes, they are posing competition on some regional and domestic routes to PIA.

Quoting Ps76 (Reply 8):
Is Pakistan airlines good value?

Not really, Air Blue might be, they were really good, great Economy class meals and that too served on Chinaware, thats gone now also did away with Business class, so dont know if other standards have been maintained.

Quoting Ps76 (Reply 8):
Does it have good service?

They are ok, Air Blue stood out with international standards on domestic routes.

Quoting Ps76 (Reply 8):

Its slightly cheaper than PIA and Air Blue, better experience? I cant say, it all depends on how the traveller sees things.
