Many Hungarians from Australia are using the service from MEL as it is the only 1 stop way to connect direct to BUD, however many are also complaining of being in a A320 for 5 hours.

So what about the people who fly from OVB to FRA on an S7 A320. Block time... 6 h 55 minutes !

They don't fly 14 hours MEL-DOH 77L, then go into a A320 for another 5+ hours. It's the cumulative total thats the killer and you get the most uncomfortable part at the end. Also I can't imagine J class passengers being happy going from the 77L product to the A320 either

Well, QR has not the typical shorthaul product on its narrowbodies, but a decent seat and pitch. And PTV's.

It is really hard to understand complains for Economy class passengers. Qatar Airways has PTV's on A320 and the pitch is the same as widebodies in Economy. So generally there are no big difference between A330/A340 and A320, maybe just a bit bigger "luck" to get a middle seat if the loads are high.

I can explain that only by "bigger aircraft = better aircraft" syndrome.

Just to be clear, that wasnt my quote. I feel the same as you about QR economy class on narrowbodies
