It means Grand Cayman said they can not land there...either a govt thing or a monumental screw up in Long Island City in following the necessary steps

No way, to the best of my knowledge B6 has the necessary approvals. It was publicly announced in GCM. I am checking my sources locally and will let members know what I find out.

It means they should have announced service to BZE instead!

I now understand that the problem is that while applications have been submitted, B6 do not yet have approval for service from the Air Transport Licensing Authority in Cayman. My guess is the authorities ordered a halt to ticket sales until approval is granted.

should just be a minor issue. I hope this will be resolved shortly. probably just a holdup in our CAA to get documents sorted.

Well Cayman did have a referendum, and its budget is still awaiting delivery and approval so one can forgive the authorities for being busy with other issues of state, all in all not a good start for new airlift into the Islands.
