1Time Holdings Of South Africa In Distress

Thu Aug 23, 2012 7:32 pm

I just saw this article on 1Time Holdings applying for business rescue proceedings due to financial problems at some of their subsidiaries. Hopefully this does not mean the end of 1Time, so soon after Velvet Sky folded.

Tickets for 1time?

Just saw another article:

I've never flown 1Time but of what i've heard, they are a freindly bunch and give incredible service. It is just so unfortunate that in these tough economic times they have to compete in a pool with JE Mango backed by SAA and the taxpayers and MN Kulula (backed by BA/Comair)

I am a fan of the underdog and hope that 1T get a reprevive, our no frills certainly does not need another airline closing shop.

Most of the times when I've flown anywhere when I've been home, I've flown 1T. The rest of my family seems to like Kulula -- so I'll be flying them for the first time in October.

The 1T flights have always been good with great crew and plenty of legroom -- especially when I discovered that the plane was a 737-200 with business class seats, and I was in one of them

I like 1T and wish them well -- I hope they can come out of this mess.
