According to Business Traveller, Thai will take delivery of its first A380 on September 27.
Initially it will be rostered for regional flights linking BKK with HKG and SIN. These get under way on October 6.
FRA will be the first European destination for Thai's A380 when the second aircraft is delivered. This A380 service will commence around mid-December. Services from BKK to CDG (Thai's second European city) and NRT will follow in February 2013.

I was a bit surprised/disappointed that LHR isn't higher up their list of priorities. However TG fly the A340-600 x2 to LHR which gives about 530 seats per day - one A380 will give 507. So theoretically TG could send one 380 a day and lease out a landing slot to another airline without losing much capacity. However the A380 has a similar number of premium seats[F and J] as one 340-600, so going down to a single rotation on a 380 would reduce premium capacity by 50% which wouldn't necessarily be a good thing for TG.
I also thaught their A380 would be sent to LHR as their second destination. I guess the current two daily flights are much more attractive compared to a single daily flight, especially for business people.
Doesn't TG have only six A380s on order?
If they do all three Euro major airports, that would max out fleet without any aircraft to spare. That's assuming they are used all for the daily westbound red-eye flights. I suppose BKK-NRT would be a day-time roundtrip between these flights.
