Not quite sure where this topic belongs, but I'm sure the mods will move it to the correct place. When baseball teams (or any pro sports team) flies to their next game, is there a dedicated single airplane that the team leases or owns to use, or do they pay the local airline to use one of their airplanes? A few weeks ago I posted a thread about the Oakland A's charter and it was just a no name chater airline, but when I checked about the Chicago White Sox coming to BWI
, i think I found on flightaware that they may have used an A320 from UA
Also, when teams go to Canada for games, do they go through the normal Customs process that we go through? I would think not since I wouldn't imagine pro teams walking through an airport like everyday civilians. Thanks guys!
"But this airplane has 4 engines, it's an entirely different kind of flying! Altogether"
