I am a huge lover of PanAm and know everyone involved it the creation of the world's best corporate identity- but I have never heard, let alone see, a gold version. If they did one 747 for an anniversary it slipped my radar!
The world is missing love, let's use our flights to spread it!

The only thing I could think of if PA picked up some of National Airlines 747s after the merger. I found a DC10 in the database being painted into PA colors.

Me too, very sadly missed and what great airline to fly with.

People tend to remember Pan Am for the big losses and the sad decline, but we have much to be grateful to Pan Am for, a true pioneering company in more ways than one.

National's 747-135's were long gone by the time Pan Am acquired the carrier in 1980.

Not important but since it's a common error, it was Pan Am (with a space), not PanAm.
