Question On CX Itinerary

Wed Sep 12, 2012 9:34 am

I just got an email from CX informing me of various changes to a booked itinerary. One thing that caught my attention though was two seat assignments for one leg.

Quote:
SEAT 32A NO SMOKING SEAT UN FOR
SEAT 41A NO SMOKING SEAT CONFIRMED FOR

The aircraft type is a 777-300ER.

What does the "UN" mean, and why did they assign two seats? 41A was my original requested seat.
