Aside from this being the result of terrible mismanagement at YX
and a DISASTEROUS follow-up attempt by F9
's move to the D concourse is a great decision. The current Sky Club is way out of date, much too small, and the E Concourse has terrible food options. It's like going into a cave and it gives business travelers coming into MKE
a very bad impression. MKE
isn't even on the list for TSA
Pre so maybe now they'll have a chance to get on.

With DL moving to D, it doesn't make much sense to keep E open, although I don't think they should completely tear it down either. Doing that would only make lines at TSA longer and slower, and will do nothing but harm efforts to attract Chicago area travelers.
The flight situation is getting pretty bad for flying out of MKE
. I almost always end up flying out of ORD
now because of the lack of flights. Most people would probably rather drive an hour and a half and fly direct from Chicago than catch a connecting flight which extends the total trip by 2-3 hours.
