Is WN Really Utilizing B738 Between LAS-FLL?

Wed Oct 10, 2012 3:26 pm

Today I booked a flight on WN to fly from LAS to FLL and when I checked on Flightaware to see what the approx flight time was, they showed that this flight is being operated with a 738. Is this correct or is it just another glitch on Flightaware? I thought that WN was only using the 738 on the slot restricted airports such as LGA, DCA, etc to increase capacity. I am really hoping this is correct because I would love to fly on their new 738 but I rarely ever go to LGA or DCA. Can anyone confirm if WN is really using the 738 between LAS and FLL. Thanks
every day is a good day to fly

WN has been using the 738 throughout the network since they arrived in April.
Example: Flight 2060 LAS-OAK on 10/15/12 is a 738

Yes, 8309 operated the outbound today and 8302 will be operating the inbound.

It's not just slot restricted airports. For example, WN uses the 738 on LAS-BDL and BWI-PVD and MHT.
