SQ orders should show up in Boeing

Confused , were the 787s for Scoot new 787 orders or is SQ simply transferring existing SQ orders to Scoot ? Thanks.

SQ transferred the orders to Scoot. So we should just see a customer change (delete SQ, add TZ).

Seems like a wasn't accurate enough, for SQ and a only wait for them to show up in Airbus' order books (the A380 and A350), while the recent orders from TK should soon be shown in both's

Good month for Airbus wide bodies and the SQ A350 and A380s to come.

Anyone think that the AF/KLM A350 order will get firmed this year?

Possibly - that cancellation of 10 was listed as "undisclosed" showing -10 A330-300s and GF still listed as 20 on order. That's still the case in October's O&D spreadsheet. I'll guess we'll have to wait a month to see what happens unless Airbus make an announcement before then.

This would actually leave GF off the hook pretty cheap IMO. 20 WBs traded against 24 NBs? Something behind the scenes we don´t know of yet? (=> "undisclosed optioned A350 XWBs"?)

Arkia Israeli Airlines - 4 A321Neo (the MOU was for 4 Neo's, however, up to 3 could be Oeo's based on other statements)

That was my understanding, as in a previous monthly update they stated "also included in the month's order book was one A321neo for Arkia Israel".

It seems this was a miscommunication and Arkia did take their 4 Neos, as Airbus today claimed they have firmed 1515 Neos. Interjet's 40 Neos are firm as well.

With this order, the 737 family has surpassed 1000 net orders for the year - the first time such an achievement has been reached.

If I am not mistaken the GF air order has been reduced on Airbus books to reflect 6 330s and the 24 320 CEO and NEO ,
Can anyone confirm the 6 330 order

Quoting Stitch (Reply 28):

Has the 320 achieved the 1000 order year before or is the 737 the first one to do so

Airbus doesn't break down their orders by model per year, but I believe the A320 family (oeo and neo) broke the 1000-order mark in 2011. They might also have done so in 2007.

Not as of their October 31 update. I'm looking at it right now, and there is no change in GF's current order. However, as I postulated before in 'Part 1' of this thread, the -14 frames for Undisclosed is still there, and it is my belief that these are GF.

As Stitch correctly mentioned, the A32X Family broke the 1,000 net order mark last year (1,348). That was the first year that aircraft achieved that mark as well. In 2007, they came close with 913.

Maybe we see some more Airbus orders from China now that the carbon-tax is being removed. China Eastern is first out with an order for 60 A320s (ceo)

They continue to have five 747-8 Intercontinentals on order.

The three 747-8 freighters originally assigned to them in the firing order are now assigned to Cathay Pacific Cargo.

Here you go, Zeke... http://www.reuters.com/article/2012/.../uk-airbus-a-idUSLNE8B202920121203

...the anticipated scrapping of 800s and conversion to the larger models.

The -800 is now down to only 92 units. Wow!

Another release by Bloomberg says Airbus can save 1B euros by not proceeding with the -800. Might this be plowed back into more enhancements for the 330 then?

Latest speculation in the 747-8 production thread is that CX wants to order additional 777-300ERs instead of taking delivery of their 777 freighters and just operate a 747 freighter fleet. To accomplish this, Cathay has agreed to take over the three 747-8Fs that Air China Cargo evidently has an unannounced MoU on and in return Air China Cargo will take over some of the 777F orders Cathay has on order.

So I am guessing we'll see CX announce a conversion from the 777F to the 77W and 748F followed by Air China Cargo announcing a 777F order.

Wow .. thanks for the info.
In December Airbus normally firms up plenty. Would be cool if we can get some more Chinese orders.
AirAsia could also squeeze in another 100 before year end.

Leahey is on his way to China as we speak, so now that the EU has backed off of ETS for at least a year I expect those A330 orders will be firmed.

Quite a lot of "UFO-activity" for Boeing this week. 2 new 747 orders and 5 cancellation. Most likely 5 747-8i for Emirates Sky Cargo/DAE. In addition one 767 cancellation, airline unknown

Appears to be Air Astana per another site.

The 15 UFO cancellations in November were by United Airlines. The 5-frame 787 UFO on 7 November are 4 787-9s and 1 787-8 and all have GEnx power. Transaero is once again the Customer of Record for their 4 787s (they had been moved to DL Air SPV and are now back with Transwero).
