Probably no connections on the HOU-MCO/TPA-EYW routes.

It appears during that schedule period EYW is only reachable from HOU on Saturdays. Flight 2015 HOU-TPA and Flight 1957 TPA-EYW. The return is available any day of the week through MCO only.

So there will be no issues flying a 737 full of passengers and luggage into an airport with a sub 5,000ft runway? What about taking off full of fuel and pax?

Obviously they have considered this not to be an issue since they are following through with the flights but I just never realized an airport this small could handle that size of a plane.

Take a look here: Delta LaGuardia To Key West (by FlyingFan18 Oct 11 2012 in Civil Aviation) .

You can go pretty far from 4800 feet with a 737-700 with the 26k engines. What engines does WN fly?

Also it looks like landing weight is more restricted than take off weight.

Delta doesn't seem to have an issue running 73Gs and A319s into EYW, so why would WN ?

Been doing it for years at SDU as well, it's runways are 4,134 and 4,341 feet long.

Well that's interesting! I work at MGY and our runway is 5,000ft and some large Buisness Jets use almost 3/4ths of it. Just hard to picture a 737 landing/taking off here!

This is a common mistake folks make in slinging around the term "full". You could probably put 143 overweight people, each holding solid iron bars in their hands, and take off fine for a flight to MSY, TPA, or MCO. The fuel load for these trips in extremely light. You won't see anyone flying EYW - west coast.
