FL Logo Aircraft To The West Coast?

Thu Nov 08, 2012 6:15 am

I have a two-part question... First, what is WN going to do with FL's logo aircraft, ie paint the WN 73G's in the appropriate logo? Second question, do the sport's teams logo aircraft fly them to all of their games? If so, how do the ATL Braves fly to SEA, SFO, OAK, PHX, SAN, DEN etc.? I don't think those 717's have the legs for it, or are they modified?

717's are going to DL... Sponsorships will probably be evaluated when they come up for renewal.

The same way the Falcons, Hawks, Tech, and THE University of Georgia fly.....On Delta

With that being said, Delta is the official airline of the Braves. Airtran is the Airline of the Falcons however. (but again, the team still charters a Delta aircraft)

pretty sure the Braves don't have a logo jet with FL.....
New airliners.net web site sucks....
Also the mods want to kill free speech and prevent people from saying things like the above. Better say nothing about awesomeness for this place or else!

The 737s get everything WN... Livery, cabin, lavatory etc... The 717s stay at FL until they go to DL which will have the cabin switched, livery, etc...

The sponcerships will probably be evaluated as they are up. We know WN is now the official airline of the Brewers but the others are yet to be seen.

They will probably keep the Falcons and Ravens. The Colts will probably be cut. The Magic is a toss up, could go either way.

If I am not mistaken NFL teams are not permitted to go smaller than 757s, which would rule out FL. WN is the official of the NFL and does not move teams either. The standard is 75s for shorter range and 76s or a330s for longer hauls.
