Any Updates On PEOPLExpress?

Fri Nov 16, 2012 9:01 pm

We were supposed to know the identity of their mystery CEO by now as well as their first year route structure, etc.

At first I thought this was a joke.. then I checked out their website. Yep, still not impressed.

At the very least, listing their key players would be a good step. That is to say, if this isn't just another pipe dream with a simple website and flashy colors.

I know this is off topic, but wasn't there also a proposal a while back to resurrect Eastern Airlines? In any event, I'm thinking that would have a better shot than PeoplExpress at this point...

I heard a rumor a while back that Uncle Phil Trenary would be taking the reigns...??? Did anyone else hear that?

Maybe Braniff, Pan Am, Air Florida and TWA will return too.

PeoplExpress; will this be a no frills, every extra type of airline or will it just be another LCC that will find themselves in the same leaky boat as Skybus, PeoplExpress ( the old one) Laker, and others?

Funny you should ask! There is another thread here on Civil Aviation regarding Eastern's famous hockey stick livery painted on a new Chinese made RJ called the C919. Nice looking for an RJ BTW.
