Once we see the WN/FL codesahre in 2013, will we see the switch to same flight numbers for both carriers?
FL 2580 MDW-ATL on airtran metal would also be WN 2580 MDW-ATL.
If this done could we see the the elimination of the Citrus callsign similar to what happened with DL/NW?
With roughly 3,800 departures between the both carriers numbers it shouldn't be a issue if I calculated right they should be 9,996 different combinations for flight numbers leaving plenty of numbers to be used for (MX flights, Charters and Ferries). With 1 to 4 digit flight numbers.
