How do you know that Lisbon is a high-yielding market out of MIA? I simply assumed it because of Espirito Santo.
Not only because of the "Espiritu Santo" bank and some other Portuguese businesses in the area, but also because TP
is, among the 3 carriers with direct service to the iberic peninsula, the one with a bit higher business product and the ideal aircraft to fly the route with profitability. Also TP
not only serves the portuguese market but the northern region of Spain (Galicia). The TP
brand is very well known for travelers between this area and the americas (most of them do not like IB
...and not to speak about AA
). The increase in the frequencies might give us a hint that they know what they are doing and they are doing it good. The only thing I see from TP
is that they need to make strong ties between their *A partners at MIA
., that is, take advantage of possible connections to C.America with TA
. If they do that I think we can see TP
going daily soon.
