Allegiant Announces Provo, Utah

Allegiant has announced they will start service to PVU on February 15th from Phoenix. This news comes several months after Frontier announced they will their service from DEN on January 5th.

Are you sure you are not confusing it with Ogden? The official press release didnt come out until today, below is an excerpt from it:

I didn't see a thread anywhere. The announcement press conference hasn't even started yet, and I have seen no official news of this anywhere until this morning.

I also think some might be thinking about the previous start of service at Ogden.

Provo has been bounced around for several years as a potential G4 city. Rumors date back to at least 2007 or 2008. Should be interesting to see how the route does.
