Happy Holidays and a Happy upcoming New Year!
I decided to start this thread because there have been a few exciting things going on in Ukrainian aviation this month.
Reports have been going around that Aerosvit is soon to kick the bucket with the airline struggling to pay back airport fees and many of its aircraft parked at the apron of Kyiv Borispol International Airport. The airline - had a conflict with Moscow Sheremetyevo Airport which led to Rosaviatsia (Russian Aviation Administration) banning Aerosvit aircraft from entering Russian airspace. Additionally, Aerosvit has had issues with domestic international airport - Lviv. Borispil Airport (its hub) also cancelled five of its flights because of unpaid fees.
