Is 737,747,757,767,777,787 Possible

Just wondering , will it be possible to do all the 7's with any airline out there ? BA was a chance before they got rid of the 757, any more

UA is the only one I can think of, and only because of the merger... DL might eventually get there as well.

The 757 is still technically still in hybrid BA colours/ownership with openskies?

I checked the 787 orderbook as that is the bottleneck on this moment. Eventually Air China might have them all if they still have 757s and 767s by the time they'll receive their first 787.
nobody has ever died from hard work, but why take the risk?

Had the 787 been on-time we probably could have had a few airlines on the list, the one that springs to mind for me is CA. Unfortunately they seem to have retired the 767 this year.

Now, how about flying all those aircraft in succession. I mean starting with 737 and going in order up to 787. I was thinking about doing this back in 2009 before UA retired their 737s. I was trying to work a 5 leg(737 to 777) domestic itinerary but never came to. Now, since the merger we have the 737 back in the mix, as well as the 787. There will just be a few intl segments though. I'll start working on one.....

I think OP is asking about airlines that will have operated all these at the same time.

Otherwise, there are a number of airlines that have, or will have, operated all or nearly all the Boeing 7*7 types from 707 to 787, excluding the 717: in addition to AA, also UA and ET, and arguably BA (727 with Comair) and QF (727 with Australian Airlines). If you include the 717 the only ones I can think of are AA (717 with TWA) and QF (717 with Impulse/Jetstar/QantasLink, 727 with Australian Airlines).

LY has all the 7s with exception of the 787, but an order/leasing for some Dreamliners is not out of the question, and there has been speculation of LY receiving a loan to fund this.

However, LY is also close to phasing out the 757s, so whether or not we will see them all together is probably doubtful.

the 720 is actually a subtype of the 707, just a different number for marketing reasons.
Added to that, Continental's past can now be seen as part of United's past and they had 707s as well.

As others have mentioned, UA has already achieved this. I believe that DL will also achieve this when its 787s are delivered, as I don't see them getting rid of all of their 757s before that happens.

A few 757s will almost certainly still be plying TATL and LatAm routes when the 787s come online.

mmmm, yes, but then no.
That bird has never been in the ownership of BA as far as I can tell.
It's "BA" by livery only. Even then, it's the Openskies livery.

DL will have the most Boeing models operated at one time when they get their 787s and 717s as mentioned above

717,737,747,757,767,777,787 with 7 types. UA current champ with 6.

Actually, no. United never flew the 707 - they were a DC8 operator. They did buy and operate 720's, however.

I don't think UA currently has any domestic 744s as part of the regular schedule, so the toughest part would be connecting from narrowbody (737) to widebody (747) and back to narrowbody (757) without duplicating or going out of order.

It should be a bit easier task on DL since they have 757s based at NRT, though obviously with them you're just looking at 3, 4, 5, 6, 7. As a random example:

MSP --(737)--> DTW --(747)--> NRT --(757)--> GUM --(767)--> NRT --(777)--> MSP

Probably just to promote it's only transatlantic destination, and the US and EU flags nicely link the airline's name to the US-EU Open Skies agreement.

While UA is a huge 7X7 airline, they have over the years flown many non-Boeing ac, this question makes me ask who has been most loyal to Boeing over the years? Either never or "close to never" operated DC-10's or MD-11's or L1011's or any Airbus?

I would still consider them the same as Boeing never produced a 720 prototype. It was certified using the 707's certificate and the 367 as a test bed for the few new things to it.

Very likely. Delta has a lot of clout at Boeing. The question is do they need new widebodies anytime soon? Probably not. I would guess that 787's in any form will not be coming to DL until at least 2017.

Soon when UA starts LAX-NRT on the 787 it will be possible NRT 737 HKG 747 SFO 757 ORD 767 LHR 777 LAX 787 NRT

It might be possible to do IAH 737 SFO 747 LHR 757 EWR 767 AMS 787 IAH up until the end of March when the 787 is taken off IAH-AMS, although some of those will probably involve some long connections.

This 752 was bought by BA from Boeing on 25 April 1994.

It was operated by BA from 27 April 1994 until it was withdrawn from BA service on 6 August 2008.

It was leased by BA to EC on 2 October 2008 after maintenance and painting.

Today it is owned by BA and remains leased to EC.

EC is and always has been a wholly owned subsidiary of BA.

Like my earlier posting this aircraft wears a BA type livery and carries the "From British Airways" titles.

All heavy maintenance on all EC aircraft is carried out either by BA Maintenance Gatwick or BA Maintenance Heathrow.
