I was just thinking back to when my family and I flew from Manchester to Johannesburg in 2003 - at the time we flew all sectors on the A330-200. Seems strange to think how much EK have expanded and added capacity in the last ten years (but that's another thread). Anyway, I got to thinking about the history of EK on the Dubai to Johannesburg route. When did it start? Equipment used? How did it grow over the years? Your thoughts/knowledge would be welcome.
