Why is this being reported by a source in India and not in Chicago? The whole story sounds off if you ask me and I am not defending Air India in any way, can't stand them. The whole thing about the hotel asking the cops not to charge them shows how off the article is.
This whole story sounds completely unbelievable I live in Chicago and this incident was never reported on any local new station, in any local new paper or on any blog here in Chicago. So how did someone in India get the story when no media outlet here in Chicago did and all the media outlets here in Chicago have police scanners? An incident involving international flight attendants that required police and paramedics to respond would have made the news somewhere here in Chicago.
And secondly correct me if I'm wrong but Chicago police do not have the authority to ban anyone from entering the United States as the article seems to suggest only the federal government can do that and that would require a police report and the article said that the hotel clearly asked that a report not be file.
This just sounds like a half baked report that tries to show AI in a negative light. I won't be surprised if some years down the road we find out it was Etihad or Emirates manipulating the press to make AI look bad.
Anyways time to sit back and watch the AI hatred mongers carry their hatred to another art form!
Most of the police departments in US cities publish detailed weekly reports listing all incidents they responded to, whether or not the incident resulted in a criminal complaint. With all the budget cuts they want to show citizens they are busy. May be someone Chicago area can check. This is definitely a bogus article. My guess this a tip from a AI Mumbai employee to TOI on Delhi crew.
