New OpenSkies Livery

Sat Apr 06, 2013 4:51 pm

Blue underbelly and engines with dark blue OpenSkies font replaces the original silver obviously trying to push a stronger nod to mother goose. I think the full BA livery with a small BA sub logo like BACF would have looked better IMO.

That is much better - the old scheme was too subtle, and the titles too anonymous

I wonder if the last purple reference to L'Avion will disappear too?

I hope so - it doesn't fit with the BA branding that OpenSkies use, and it's not as though L'Avion was around long enough, or had enough of a following, to make it worthwhile keeping a link.

I'm with you on this, the whole purple post L'avion merger colours seem to have been dropped from the website and the onboard product. The L'avion coloured OpenSkies ethos was so garish and unlike BA, no idea why they felt the need to pay "tribute" to such a minor non airline, spoilt what was originally a nice scheme.

Looks like the name has gone from the front ot her too, I believe each OpenSkies aircraft used to be named after members of Dale Moss family. Is it just VI wearing this livery currently?

Will be interesting to see a clearer photo. Still seems strange seeing a BA 757 with P&Ws!
