Lufthansa Seasonal DUS-NBE!

Sat Apr 20, 2013 10:43 am

Dusseldorf airport website is showing Lufthansa flights to Enfidha, Tunisia starting May. It will be a once a week Saturday flight using an A320.

When checking on Lufthansa website you can find Enfidha listed on Tunisia's destinations but when trying to book it says no available flights !

If it's not bookable, it might be a series of charter flights for a package tour operator. Either that or the flight simply has not been loaded in LH's system yet.
Public service announcement: "It's" = "it is". To indicate posession, write "its." Looks wrong, but it's correct grammar

It's a charter flight - just like many more "exotic" (for Lufthansa) weekend-only destinations from DUS.

Then again RAK is attracting quiet a different kind of passenger...

The NBE flight is however available for indiviual bookings at www.tuifly.com like some other LH "holiday" routes, for those interested.

I had a similar flight from STR to PMI. While LH had regular scheduled flights on this route, they had charters too, which were only available through several tour operators or like said before on tuifly.com (which is selling Lh directly but also alotments that i.e. mother TUI has).

Interestingly a eticket was existing for that flight with 0 EUR fare and 0 EUR taxes, and the endorsments were "LH CHARTER NO MILES". And indeed neither status nor miles were recognized/paid. I believe LH sends an invoice to the people chartering, and issues Alibi-Tickets because they can'T work otherwise
