Ok, but this is an sCO order, so the new routes will be from either LAX, IAH or EWR.
|Quoting hkcanadaexpat (Reply 8):|
New routes for UA will then need to wait for the next batch of aircrafts to arrive. Aircraft #7 is due for delivery in August/September 2013. Aircraft #8 in October 2013. Aircraft #9 in late December 2013. So that should give you an indication of new route announcements.

Looks like United has added a second inaugural flight tomorrow May 20th. In addition to IAH-ORD, there will be an IAH-EWR flight leaving at about the same time. This was not part of the original plan.

The return flight UA 081 is scheduled for May 21st. So looks like the aircraft will overnight in EWR. Perhaps some internal UA events planned in EWR on 20/21.

lso is there any further information on the change, of the QR900/901 rotation to Perth, from the 777 to the 787? This was going to occur in February but the 787 grounding obviously delayed it from happening. I did read an article (from April) where a QR spokesperson confirmed the change would occur at some stage but did not confirm a date. Has there been any further confirmation?

If I remember correctly Qatar Airways' original plan was to use the 787 on both daily MUC services, on both daily FRA services, daily to ZRH, daily to GVA. Currently only one of the MUC flight and the daily ZRH flight are operated, the others seem not even to be in the plans anymore.

I imagine this is a one off flight or maybe a training flight but I noticed a 787 today flying between AUS and IAH.
