Mexico is becoming an Airbus country
Sadly not in terms of widebody planes. AM
is the only Mexican long-haul operator and it has decided to go for an all-787 widebody fleet. It'd be so cool to see A330s and A350s flown by local carriers.
Of the foreign carriers serving MEX
, only IB
send Airbus widebodies. The other European carriers send 744s, LA
and affiliates send 763ERs and that's about it. Some resort destinations may get A330s from leisure carriers from Europe, but at MEX
the variety is quite limited.
Next flights: MEX-LAX AM 738, LAX-PVG DL 77L, SHA-PEK CA 789, PEK-PVG CA A332, PVG-ORD MU 77W, ORD-MEX AM 738
