Yes, the secondary feed works slightly better atm. FR24 and coffe here too. It's great to be part of this historic event, even though it is remotely. It's even more great to do it with fellow enthusiasts.

What would be the expected flight time? Of course it depends on many factors, but given what they've said and done before?

They land at about 14.00 CET, Airbus will air directly then including after flight interviews with the crew.

We got to see almost all the live transmission from the chase plane on the live Airbus feed for the first A380 test flight. I wonder why it isn't the same with the A350XWB today?

Why aren't Airbus showing permanent air to air live feed?

Live means live. We expect to see the aircraft, not ground interviews!

The 15 second sampling problem is still there, 110kt might be a sampling overshoot (FR24 see a decelration and counts down with that speed until next sample), one can see that on the jumping altitudes as well.

In any case - congratulations to Airbus! I thought it was a beautiful airplane on the ground, but it's even more stunning in the air! Can't wait to see what flying on one is like.

Jupp, that is what I think (and I should want to have done before returning to landing and landing speeds, both in landing and clean config). They have 4000m to sort out any unexpected vices the lady might throw at them, much better than in the circuit (300m or less  ) .

A little question...

Are they doing these test flights in VFR, with the airspace being closed to any other (especially GA) traffic?

And then, does the flight path follow any plan?

I´d guess they just restrict traffic on a certain range of altitude so they steer clear of the A350, just a wild guess.

T/O thrust: TOGA
ZFW: 171.345 kg
Ramp weight: 221.510 kg
Total fuel: 50.170 kg

I remember the weather being ghastly on the day of the 787's first flight, and at least initially, they stayed just under the cloud base where there was sufficient visibility.

I wonder if the Corvette has enough legs to follow the A350 for 4 hours at low altitude. Did Airbus fit more tanks to it?

Otherwise I'm guessing it will have to pit at some point.

I would guess the path is very controlled, it is in controled airspace and the ATC keeps the separation. Also the airspace under the 350 has to be clear to a very low level, they are doing low speed work including stalls so they need to plan for the worst....
