Does anyone know if there are any Convair 880/990's still in commercial, private, or military service anywhere in the world? If so where are they and who flys them? Thanks.

Do you know what's this?

It belongs to Agroar, portuguese cargo airline.

The question was about 880's, or 990's. I know exactly what that is. Do you. It doesn't look like a jet airliner to me. Those things spinning are propellers right. No speed fairings. Nope it's definetly not an 880 or 990.

A follow up question. If there are no 880/990's still flying, does anybody know where one can get a look at an abandoned/mothballed one in Texas? Thanks again.

I only post that because you have said without doubts "No sir. No more convairs flying." That is a Convair and is used in commercial flights, like Dfw has asked.
Don't worry, I know that you know what plane is that.

Did you remove the Convair picture from your post? I can't get it to appear on any of my web browsers, and usually I have no problem getting your pictures.

The picture is still there. I didn't do anything. If you want, I can send you the picture by email.

Thanks for the offer, Mirage. It must be a problem with my computer. When I logged in with another user's name and password, the picture came in just fine. When I use my name and password I can't get any pictures. This just started today. Thanks.
