AC To Stop Flying To Austin

Mon Oct 30, 2000 1:27 am

Air Canada will be dis-continuing their Toronto-Austin TX route due to poor load factor. This was one of the two new routes started earlier this year that have not survived. The other was Toronto - Ontario CA

I flew that flight a while ago, they said now that people are going to have to stop at another city to get to Toronto from Austin.

Hello, Air Canada. Now's the chance to save face and extend your Austin service to San Antonio and return nonstop to Toronto. Copy DL, they've been doing SLC-SAT-AUS-SLC for years.

You complement Austin's business and SA's tourism and you should be able to fill a 319.

That is a good point. They should have fly into SAT with one stop AUS from YYZ service so it would be helpful loads. They should cut from two flights a day to one flight a day.
