Delta's New Seats

Mon Oct 30, 2000 5:40 am

I was looking at some cabin shots of Delta's new 767-400s and while I was looking at the economy seats, I saw a weird panel with buttons on it. What do they do. Also is the new first class product only going to be on the 767-400. Not the BusinessElite product but the seats with the footrests. All replies are welcome.

Thanks,
Mike

Is this that photo you are talking about ?
I think those butons includes the lombar support command and seat recline might be electronic too.

That's the airfone, the entertainment console/PCU is located on the inside inboard armrest. The seat does not have an electronic lumbar support nor does it recline electronically.

This is the 767-400 version of the normal first-class seat and will not be refitted to any other existing aircraft in the fleet.

Hope I helped clear things up.

The 767-400s do have nicer first class seats that have foot rests and PTVs.
