Aurigny Leasing A Do228

Wed Nov 13, 2013 5:17 pm

Hello there,

just read that Aurigny in the Channel Islands is wet-leasing a Portuguese Dornier 228, CS-TGG. Does anybody know whether it will be put on a particular route?

Thanks and greetings!

As the BBC says, it is just a two-week trial.

Any idea which specific JER-GCI-JER flights?

I suppose they are trying it on as many routes as possible, STOL and non-STOL, short inter-island hopping and longer routes such as BRS, and probably in the latter's case also depending on demand.

Well, I guess they will have to try something else to operate their routes, the Trislanders can't keep going ad infinitum.
