Is the Egypt Air JFK-CAI the longest 767 non stop flight in the world?

TWA flies the same route with a 767. Also, isn't Egyptair all 777 on the route now?? Also, the JFK-TLV flight by TWA on a 767 is 63 miles longer than the CAI flight. (5677 miles vs. 5614 miles)

I know that Egpyt Air has a 777 on the route, but I THINK it only flies on the weekend, and the 763 has the week. Thanks for telling me that info!

How about AA's CDG-DFW? When I flew it in March it took us 12 hours.

I remember reading that it's LAX-SVO, flown by Aeroflot.

YYZ-TLV Air Canada and Elal fly 767's on that route

Also there is YYZ-SYD VIA HNL that is an AC flight also 767

I'm sure that those two are up there in distance and time

As for nonstops, the LAX-Moscow is the longest of the possibilities mentioned so far; if that turns out to not be nonstop, or to not be a 767, then SFO to Milan (which is indeed supposed to be a nonstop 767) becomes the longest of these possibilities.

But years ago another 767 airline beat all of these.

SVO-LAX is indeed nonstop on a 767(SU321/322). the milage is 6077, beating out JFK-TLV and MXP-SFO mentioned earlier.

I remember seeing somewhere in a record book, that the longest 767 flight (not scheduled), was from Seattle to Nairobi on a 767-200ER. That is probably the longest!

The longest scheduled route is by El Al with a 767-200ER at 6167 miles, next is LAX-GRU by Varig at 6158 miles with a 767-300ER and then LAX-SVO by Aeroflot with a 767-300ER. SAS used to fly CPH-SIN nonstop with a 767-200ER and that is a distance of 6197 miles. EgyptAir doesn't fly the 767-300ER to North America since after flight 990. The777Man

GRU-MUC just changed to a MD-11 and the day flight from GRU to LAX switched to a 763 about two weeks ago. The777Man

I thought it was Air New Zealand Wellington(Auckland) to Nagoya or Fukuoka. They only sometimes operate fuokuoka flights.

AIH and BY used to fly their 767-300ERs between MAN,LGW and Australia although these had 1 or 2 stops, but still that must have taken a long time.

AA used to fly LAX LHR, and BA used to fly LHR SEA those are both about the best a 767 can do!

The SAS longhaul fleet consists only of the 767 and therefor are all the longhaul routes quite long for the aircraft.

Copenhagen/Stockholm - Newark/Chicago are quite common but other destinations from Copenhagen which are quite long are Beijing, Delhi, Bangkok.....
but the really long flights are:
Copenhagen - Tokyo
Copenhagen - Seattle
Copenhagen - Singapore...but that one is via Bangkok
That's quite long don't you think?

Iain

LAX-LHR is 5439.3 miles
SEA-LHR is 4782.5 miles

Airnewzealand

AKL-NGO is 5548.8 miles
AKL-FUK is 5647.5 miles

As you say AKL-FUK is obviously charters only, as flights are now routed thru NGO/KIX/TYO on other Japanese airlines (ANA/ANK).

Turbostar

The SEA-NBO (9009.3 miles) flight you are talking of was a delivery flight for KQ, and would have been a very, very light payload. On delivery flights though, didn't an SA 767 make a non-stop flight from SEA-JNB (10257.8 miles)? (bit hazy memory here on that).

Unfortunately is the CPH-LAX route discontinued for some years ago I think. It was mostly the DC10 which flew that route. But when the A330/340 will be delivered SAS will maybe restart the route to LAX.
I hope so.

Also SAS 767-300ER fly CPH (copenhagen) to NRT (tokyo Narita) which is almost a 12hr flight. I would say that is one of the longest.
