Frontier Airlines announced results of its 2nd quarter ending Sept.30th. The airline netted $20.2mil on revenues of $131.1mil. For the first six months ended Sept.30th, the airline netted $36.6 million on an increase in traffic of 32.2%. Other noables include the addition of its 25 aircraft, a former Pro Air 737-300, as well as Electronic Tickets accounting for 72.6% of bookings. Overall, this is a supurb performance, most of which is attributed to UAL's summer problems. This gave the airline the opportunity to expose their product to thousands more individuals who will hopefully return to Frontier in future travel.
