Troubles With The MD-90 For JAS.

A good friend of mines girlfriend works for JAS as a flight attendant. Now, I know that they aren't truly involved on the technical side of the aircraft but here goes. On several occasions she has told him that the MD-90 fleet is the least popular aircraft in the JAS fleet. She says that they are constantly breaking down and that the pilots do not like the aircraft and feel that it is flimsy and were not put together well. She also says this about the MD-80 series aircraft that the airline operates. On the other hand she says that the crews really love the 777-200s and A300-600Rs that the airline has. Has anyone else heard these complaints or have a veiwpoint?

I hear the pilots from AA and Delta like the MD-80/90 series. Could this be a maintinence problem for JAS?

I've heard that the MD-90 really does have some problems, but the MD-80 certainly doesn't deserve comments like that...

Not from what I've heard, at least... (or experienced as a passenger).

I'm glad that it seems that the SAS MD-90's (and 80s) were made by different hands. Because they are the 80s and 90s which I fly most often on.
Over here it is said that MDD gave up because they made them too well.
