Unfortunately Jim, Qantas does indeed have fatalities in it's past - just none with pure jet operated equipment. It's one of the most enduring urban myths around!!
Cheers. Al.

Hi Al,
Just a question...where can I find reference to any fatal accidents affecting Qantas aircraft? I hear murmurings of a Twin Otter accident, but all I can find is non-fatals involving Lancastrians, Constellations and Boeing 747s.
I know some Qantas aircraft were lost whilst seconded to the RAAF in WW2.
Thanks for any info,
AJ.
