With the orders for extra 744`s and 340`s, how many 742/741`s does virgin have left in their fleet? What routes do they operate, and has anyone flown in them, what condition are they in?

ps. how cool would a virgin tristar be!!!!

Currently VS operates 11 747-200s. 7 of them are actually quite new to the fleet. 2 came over from Cathay Pacific via a lease and 5 came from Air New Zealand via being purchased. The routes that they are normally flown on are LHR/LGW-EWR/BOS/MIA/MCO/SFO. They are also used exclusively to the Carribean destinations. I have flown on Virgin twice. EWR-LGW and the return leg during the summer of 1997. I flew on their 747-100 G-VMIA on the way over and a 747-200 G-VOYG on the way back. Unfortunately both of those aircraft have been retired since then and broken up :-(
