Anybody Flown With Concorde?

Thu Nov 16, 2000 5:38 am

I made my one and only Concorde flight on August 24'th
from Hahn (Germany) to Paris CDG. It was a special arrangement on behalf of Hahn Airport, Air France and a german travel agency.
The flight took about 89 minutes, maximum speed was Mach 1,89. The take off was the most impressive part of the flight. The four Olympus engines produced such an enormous thrust that I was pressed right back into my seat. Sounded like a vulcano. Aircraft was BVFF, the last Concorde built.
Has anybody memories about travelling on Concorde????

Thanks a lot!!!!!!!

P.S. Concorde will be back im January, according to Mr. Eddington.
