TW's 767's

Thu Nov 16, 2000 9:09 am

How many 767's does TW operate? What variants? How many? What routes? When did TW start operating the 767? What's the seating configuration(s)? Any information regarding TWA's 767's is greatly appreciated! Thanks.

RE: TW's 767's

TWA currently operates 17 767s.

9 767-300ERs with PW 4060 engines
8 767-200s with PW JT-9D engines

The 767-200s are being retired as they are replaced with the 767-300ERs.

2 767-200s are modified (after factory) for ER and ETOPS use (Not true ER and doesn't have full ER range)

The 767-200s go back to the begining of the 767 program and were the first of the type to cross the Atlantic ocean. The 767-300ERs are new to TWA coming after the last bankruptcy.

Hope that helps.
