The tweet actually says nearly 100 MAXs to China “by 2018” not “by the end of 2018.” Nevertheless, I don’t see nearly 100 MAXs being delivered in the next 2 months.

Here's a WN MAX flight,

Shows aircraft type as a B38M. Interesting, didn't know they were getting a separate id or is that unusual?

All 737-8MAX aircraft so far have been given this aircraft type (B38M). Not unusual. The A320NEO also has a similar code being A20N. Just a way to distinguish/identify the MAX and NEO aircraft from the other 737's and 230's.

Question...One thing noticeable in all of these 737-Max pictures is the much bigger, heavier engine hanging out way in front of the wing, much more than the NG ...This must really affect the aircraft COG...Did B change the horizontal stabilizer size or otherwise the adjust the control authority of what is a non-FBW aircraft? Or maybe the engine thrust vector angle is different than the NG?

Interesting article on the back to back to back flight testing (-8/-9/-7/-10) and also answers a question that has been asked several times but not officially answered here -- towards the end of 2019 the Renton lines will be all Max (except for the P-8) -- no more NG's.

Any word on when the MAX 7 is scheduled to roll off the Final Assembly Line? The article mentions it is going to be loaded onto it in late November.

It's being prepared for final assembly right now so it should be out by mid-December I'd say. It is LN 6744.
