What Happened To CBA-123?

Sat Nov 25, 2000 8:43 pm

In the late 80's Embraer started to study a replacemente for the EMB-110 Bandeirante and came up with the CBA-123, in partnership with FMA (Fabrica Militar de Aviones) from Argentina. The projetct reached prototipe stage, was displayed at Farnborough but did not proceed. It was an interesting concept, with very high aspect ratio wings and vectorial props. Does anyone knows what happend, or why?
