Qantas Goes Airbus!

Wed Nov 29, 2000 11:41 am

According to http://quote.bloomberg.com/fgcgi.cgi?ptitle=Top%20Financial%20News&s1=blk&tp=ad_topright_topfin&T=markets_bfgcgi_content99.ht&s2=blk&bt=ad_position1_topfin&middle=ad_frame2_topfin&s=AOiRPRxPJUWFudGFz Qantas has decded to order:

12 Airbus 3XX
7 Airbus 332
6 Airbus 333

Also, Boeing got 6 orders for the 747-400ER (Not 747X).

Airbus 3XX firm orders now total 42. Just 8 more to launch!

Oh my God! Another Boeing person other than me? I'd be careful Boeing in PDX. You'll get flames coming your way as soon as certain people see your post. I know I annoyed some people on the other thread.

Hey, there was no need for that! As B757300 says you may get some Airbus lovers after you.

If the FAA denies the 3XX, you won't be seeing any 747Xs in Europe after that!

A3XX Is Launched - Official

Thu Nov 30, 2000 4:23 am

An interesting article, on:
http://news.ft.com/ft/gx.cgi/ftc?pagename=View&c=Article&cid=FT34Y39Z4GC&live=true&tagid=IXLB0PYY8CC

It briefly says A3XX is launched! Like or not the project it is a bright day for aviation (maybe not for Airbus, but that's another story...)
