Will AA Ever Fly From SJC To Florida N/S?

Mon Dec 04, 2000 9:17 am

Odd probability, but w/ a 738 on the SJC-FLL, SJC-MCO, and SJC-TPA could be profitable. Also, it increases flight options for pax who want to skip jam-packed DFW, MIA, and ORD to west coast.

Take care and have a nice night

AA SJC-MIA started either Dec. 1 or will be Dec. 15, can't remember which day. A/C will be 752.

I just checked Sabre, and it shows one nonstop
between SJC and MIA (one each way) starting
on December 15, 2000. Aircraft type is 757.

Ummmm...AA has had SJC-MIA flights already, I was at MIA waiting for a flight MIA-ORD and there was an MIA-SJC leaving right next door. They were using an Airbus, and this was back in September.

American does not operate their A300s to San Jose,CA. That flight in which you referring to is flight 989, which is an Airbus A300 to San Jose, Costa Rica.

That's odd I was sure it was San Jose, CA, and all of the passengers looked like Californians going back to CA.

There is already a LAX-MCO (flight 244) and MCO-LAX (flight 215). If you wanted to go SJC, you could connect through LAX.
